Joy School

Jamie is now going to joy school on tuesdays and thursdays. we go over to the church from 10:30 till 12:00pm all of the kids moms take a turn baby sitting the teachers younger kids and teaching and being a helper. the good part is the you only do one thing a month. Jamie had a blast playing with her friends and using sissors and glue she was so happy about that. she is sure growing up.

Witches

Abby and Jamie are going to be witches we had a halloween party on Monday night so i dressed them up and did there make-up. I think abby looks to old for her own good.

carving

What will it be? a scary face a silly one? let the carving begin. on Saturday night we had a great time carving pumpkins braydon was mad that i cut the top off his pumpkin. it was so funny. Jamie and Abby were good sport and got the guts out.

Night out !!

Pumpkins we love to find them in a patch, we pick are own, don't make them match. It is our tradition to go to a pumpkin patch and pick out pumpkins. they is a great one in farmington. the had a fun hay maze for the kids and also a corn maze. we had a blast looking in the dark for the perfect pumpkin. then after we put the pumpkins safely in the car we went into the hay maze chasing the kids and scaring them. what a great night out.

Sugar House Park

Our new favorite thing to do is go to the park and feed the ducks (OK so the are mostly geese)

the kids get such i kick out of it when they come up and eat out of there hands. what joy to see the look on the kids faces and the watch the birds.

Anniversary 6years

On October 1st for Travis and my Anniversary we stayed the night at a place called Armstrong manner. Dad and Mom came and watched are kids. we went to a haunted house nightmare on 13Th. that was so much fun and scary. first time in 6 years we stayed the night somewhere with out are kids. it was so quiet and nice.

Snow

we woke up to snow on are play ground. i don't know about you but, I don't like snow before Halloween.

carnival

On September 19th the university of utah put on a carnival for all the families that live in the student apartments. they had all the tracters and lawn mowers that are used fro mantaining the property were there fro the child to play on. bouncers, cotton candy, icecream, balloons,the firetruck and so much more. we had a blast it was FREE!!! what fun!! here are some picture of the fun day we had.

second grade

today was a happy day abby started school yeah!!!! i am so glade that school has started. abby is going to a school called becon hights elementry. she will be taking the bus too and from school. which made me scared. but there are about 7 kids from our court alone that take the same bus so it will be just great. her teacher in named Emily Morganson she is very nice and so willing to talk with parents. abby loves her and it has only been the first day. this whole week it is early day at school so abby gets home at about 1:30 pm. i think that is lame. i can't belive that abby is in second grade. wow!!

Amy's Salon

I finally have a salon in my house. yeah!!! we found this salon chair on ksl for $75.00 and i got it for $60.00 we cleaned it up and i work like new. I love it! in the Uof U student housing ads you can place and ad for services and i am going to place a ad the my salon is open for buisness.

Adoption

As most of you know on July 21st the best thing happend Travis was finnally able to adopt Abigail. it was some thing that I never thought would be possiable. something that I have wanted for a long time. Travis has been there for abby since she was 1 1/2. he has love her like his own and treated her the same as are other kids. and now to have the legal paper work to confirm that. it was a totally awsome experiance.

Tradegy

Are Fish have met there doom. We took these picture in hopes of selling our fish on ksl. we left are fish tank at Travis's parents house when we moved. well about 2 weeks ago on a wensday we went down to Travis's parents house to help with the yard. when we got there we went down the stairs to check on the fish. it kind smelled we opened the door and to are suprise three of are five fish were floting on the top and the tank was so cloudy that you couldn't see in the water very well. so we cleaned out the water in hope to save the final two. the two clown fish. (they died on saturday) what had happend was the sunday before travis's sisters kids were at his parents house and Johnny decited the he wanted to feed the fish. so the four year old dumped all three bottles of fish food in the tank. even with two filters on the tank it couldn't keep up with all the food. travis and I have had fish sence we got married and it was so sad to see them go.

glasses

I went to the park with jamie and braydon. the kids had a blast. jamie fond some sun glasses and after she asked eveyone if they lost them and no one clamed them. i let her keep them. we had a bit to much fun with them later on.

The Wolf

A few weeks ago abby's class did a play of the little red riding hood, three bears, three billy goat gruff, it was an amazing play. abby was the wolf in little red riding hood and she was a very funny wolf. here are some pictures that i took of the play.

Our New Place

WE ARE MOVING!!!! That is right we are about to grow up and move out. So where are we going you ask? Student housing up at the University of Utah. It is a three bedroom one bath apartment, we are so excited!! When are we moving? June 17 that is our move in date. Would anyone like to help??? Here are some pictures of what are new digs going to look like.

Lazer Tag

We had such a great time. We got to play lazer tag with just the four of us in there it was a blast. It was so much fun to see abby in a different light with her friend, they have a special hand shake and every thing. It was a joy to be around her, I love you abby!!
